All my life I had been a wailer I went around bitching & cribbing Using my words like poison And my tongue like sting
Needless to say, I wasn't accepted by many I bitched about the world And the world scorned me
Then one day, life took a turn met a wise man on the way Who could manage to smile at me And even had good things to say
With a soul touched by his affection I began to moan "Give me the secret of your joy. Tell me how can I atone?"
In a calm tone he replied "You need to see beyond appearances. The world merely reflects your soul. The goodness you see in others is the goodness you possess."
