One fine day it occurred to me I am not what I think I am Life-old myth tumbled in a moment And all I could say was - "Damn!"
I set forth on my spiritual journey Seeking the true 'I' From scriptures to religions, I explored As years passed by
At times, pride swept me off my feet For the wisdom I had gained But then it occurred to me again That the 'EGO' had still remained
Then one day, I came across a Saint - A truly enlightened one "If you are seeking the 'I' - ", he said "Then halt. Do not run!"
I then realized, what he meant to say And my 'Ego' began to disappear A smile spread across my face As I walked away from the mirror
